Halloween DIY Drip Necklace – Instructions

Step 1: Print out the template located at the bottom of the page and assemble the pattern following the instructions on the sheet.

Making Craft Step 1 Assemble Template

Step 2: Once your design is assembled, lay the pattern out on a flat surface and place parchment paper, wax paper,or plastic wrap over the top of the paper pattern. It is important to make sure you can see the dark printing lines beneath the cover you put over the pattern so that you can see the pattern below.

Step 3: Use hot glue on top of the parchment paper tracing around the lines of the pattern. Trace around the full design with hot glue being sure not to leave any gaps.

Feel free to layer more glue on top of areas you want to stand out making the final effect even more gruesome.

Step 4: Next cut ribbon pieces around 6 inches in length and glue them to each end of the glued template. This is to secure a way for you to wear the necklace when it’s finished (tie it around your neck).

Adding Ribbon to craft

Step 6: Let the piece dry completely before removing it from the parchment paper, wax paper, or plastic wrap.

Step 7: Next use your desired color paint and a paintbrush to complete the design by painting. Some of the most fun colors to paint this design include red and green to resemble blood or goo. This is where you can really let your creativity shine.

Step 8: Once the design is completely dry, you can add a clear coat or leave it how it is. Finally, tie the Halloween DIY drip necklace around your neck and you are ready to rock your new look.

The glue should easily bend around the curve of your neck making this a fun and comfortable look.
